{"id":13401,"date":"2020-08-17T09:03:06","date_gmt":"2020-08-17T09:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geg.com.cy\/?p=13401"},"modified":"2023-05-30T10:40:17","modified_gmt":"2023-05-30T10:40:17","slug":"successful-installation-of-two-photovoltaic-parks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greenenergy.com.cy\/en\/successful-installation-of-two-photovoltaic-parks\/","title":{"rendered":"Two photovoltaic parks, with a capacity of 1.5 MWp each, have been completed in Ayios Ioannis in Nicosia."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13403 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/geg.com.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/GDL-AUGUST-LANDSCAPE2-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"593\" height=\"334\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13402 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/geg.com.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/GDL-AUGUST-LANDSCAPE1-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"593\" height=\"334\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Two photovoltaic parks, with a capacity of 1.5 MWp each, <\/strong><strong>have been completed in Ayios Ioannis in Nicosia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Our cooperation with <strong>IRIS LENOR ENERGY LTD<\/strong> was completely successful.<\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to announce that Suntechnics ltd, a member of Green Energy Group has completed and delivered the project 35 and 43, with a capacity of 1.5 MWp each.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suntechnics ltd<\/strong> as a leader of photovoltaic systems has taken over the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of two photovoltaic parks in Ayios Ioannis in Nicosia. &nbsp;The projects have been connected to the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC).<\/p>\n<p>In each park, we installed 4054 PV modules <strong>HANWHA Q-CELLS<\/strong> Q. PEAK MONO PERC with a capacity of 370Wp each, which provides energy to 8 inverters <strong>ABB<\/strong> PVS-175-TL-SX2.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>ALUMIL HELIOS<\/strong> mounting system supports the PV modules at 25o and provides a solid base for the entire system.<\/p>\n<p>With the use of this specific PV system, a significant saving is provided in carbon dioxide emissions CO2 of 3,2300 tons per year, which would require 100,966 trees to absorb them from the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Suntechnics continues its successful course in the implementation of new projects and in the further production and supply of energy from Renewable Energy Sources in Cyprus.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning that parks are funded by AstroBank, which contributes to its own way to the restart of the economy in the
