His name has been linked with “green energy”. He has dedicated his 20-year journey to the strategic penetration of RES in Cyprus. He is considered one of the most important entrepreneurs in the energy field of our country.
A visionary, with multifaceted action in matters of ensuring sustainability, in 2016 he founded the vertically integrated Green Energy Group with the aim of offering integrated energy saving solutions.
He is a mentor for the employees of the Group and with the aim of green development of the island, he has invested in the introduction of innovative practices for its implementation.
He was a founding member and President of the Cyprus Association of Renewable Energy Enterprises (SEAPEK), President of the Association of Electricity Market and a member of the Board of Directors of EVEL Limassol.
Today he is a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of OEB, Honorary President of the Association of Electricity Market, President of the Limassol - Paphos Committee and Energy Committee of OEB as well as President of the Cyprus Energy Efficiency Business Association (PASEEXE).
Mr. Frode Foss-Skiftesvik is a senior executive with a 35-year career of founding and building successful businesses in investment management, banking and industry. Based in Nicosia he is now Chairman of Fitzroy Capital, a family office and QCG Capital, an asset management firm. He serves on several boards, including the advisory board of Investcorp Strategic Capital Partners. In 1998, Frode co-founded DePfa Investment Bank, a fully licensed bank in Cyprus with offices in New York and London.
He completed his national service in the Norwegian Armed Forces and he holds a BA in Business Organisation from Heriot-Watt University and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Mr. Charalambos Kyriakou, in his capacity as Chief Operating Officer, embodies the channel of communication between the staff and the Board of Directors. Despite his young age, he has an enviable 15-year track record in the field of Renewable Energy Sources. He is characterized by his composure in crisis management, which is why he is the key person in achieving the Group's goals. As an advocate of sustainability and the implementation of the "Green Agreement", he believes that we all have to hand over projects, to the new generations that will practically strengthen the economy and sustainable development of our country, Cyprus.
He is the Vice-President of the Association of Renewable Energy Sources (SEAPEK), which is part of the Federation of Employers and Industrialists of Cyprus. He is a Mechanical Engineer, Aeronautical Engineer and holds a master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering & Renewable Technologies. He is also a registered member of the Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus.
Dr. Nikolas P. Mastroyiannopoulos is the Founder and CEO of W11 Ventures. Among other things, he was the Chief Research and Innovation (R&I) Scientist of the Republic of Cyprus, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Research and Innovation Foundation, the national R&D funding body, member of the Board of Directors of the EU Joint Research Center, the National Research and Innovation Council of Cyprus, member of the Steering Investment Committee of the Cyprus Investment Fund, and Chairman of the Research, Innovation and Technology Committee of the Ministries. He used to be the national representative in SESAME and the European Partnership for Blockchain technologies (EBP).
He is an accomplished professional with a vision for Cyprus, who has effectively worked to make research, innovative entrepreneurship and sustainability a pillar of sustainable economic development and Cyprus a regional center for research, innovation and technology.
Spyros Vassiliou graduated from Law School of the City University of London and he is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association. He is the Founding and Managing partner of the Law Firm SPYROS VASSILIOU & ASSOCIATES LLC, and he served as the Chief Executive Officer of P.I. PROVIDENT INVESTMENTS LTD, an investment firm regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
He is the Vice-Chairman of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (Invest Cyprus - CIPA) and the Vice-Chairman of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA).
Spyros Vassiliou has extensive experience in the fields of civil and commercial law as well as in all types of real estate and investments. He has also established a specialization in advising on financial matters, corporate transformations and alternative investments.
The passion for creating and implementing investment opportunities is what characterizes Ms. Ellen M. Hanetho and her 25-year career in finance and strategic business development. For her, the investment program of a company within the fields of technology and renewable energy sources is the way to ensure value creation and the future of our planet.
She is a graduate of Solvay Business School and Boston University in addition to executive programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD. She is Founder and Chair of the Board of Directors of CERCIS AS, a private investment company that has led a number of organizations in the fields of hydrogen, energy optimization technologies and renewable energy sources through funding, international scale-up and development.
Today, Ms. Hanetho is considered an accomplished personality within the field of renewable energy sources and especially within green hydrogen technology worldwide and is expected to bring a new era to the management of Green Energy Group.
