The Grant Scheme aims at providing financial incentives for the installation (or extension of an existing) photovoltaic system, for the purpose of charging a type M1 electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid vehicle. In addition, the Scheme seeks to collect information on the charging of electric vehicles and/or hybrid plug-in vehicles in Cyprus.
Applications submission by 20.12.2024 or until the exhaustion of the available budget
GRANT FOR:
MANDATORY INVESTMENT:
Α. Installation (or extension of an existing) photovoltaic (PV) system, for the purpose of charging a type M1 electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid vehicle.
OPTIONAL INVESTMENTS SUBSIDISED:
Β1. Purchase/installation of a Charger €600 (see IMPORTANT NOTES below regarding supplier conditions)
Β2. Conversion of the electrical installation of the house from single-phase to three-phase
Β3. Purchase/installation of a Battery (non-eligible expense for Virtual Net-Metering) €750 per kWh of capacity and the maximum amount of sponsorship you give is €2,000
BENEFICIARIES:
Natural Persons who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
- the home electricity bill is issued in their name.
- either themselves or another person who resides permanently and has a first-degree kinship with them, owns an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle of category M1.
- a PV system has been installed under this Scheme in their home for charging the above vehicle.
