GDL Green Energy Group took part at Intersolar Europe, the International leading exhibition for the solar industry, which took place on 22-24 June 2016, in Germany.

The Group was represented by the Chief Executive Officer of GDL Green Energy Group George Georgiou and the Head of Energy & Beyond, Charalambos Damianou.

They visited the exhibition booths of the Group’s partners, SOLARWATT and RECOM, which were amongst the major exhibitors.

The two companies presented the new, high quality, Glass-Glass PV panels, which attracted much interest among thousands of the exhibition visitors.

Also, the companies presented methods for storage of the energy produced by solar plants. The GDL Green Energy Group closely follows the international developments on energy storage and takes all actions in order to be ready to introduce the service to the Cypriot market, as soon as the relevant European directive is put in action. Energy Storage will pave the way for further penetration of Renewable Energy Sources into the power grid.
